Product Details

Heartgard Plus Chewables offer a delicious monthly treat that prevents heartworm disease while controlling roundworms and hookworms.

Benefits & Features:

Prevents heartworm disease by targeting tissue-stage heartworm larvae.

Beef-flavored chew for easy, palatable administration.
Safe for puppies from 6 weeks of age, pregnant and breeding females.
Suitable for all dog breeds, including Collies.
Dosing recommendations for optimal safety and efficacy.

Directions for Use:

Administer once every month throughout the year.
For dogs up to 11 kg (25 lbs): Give 68mcg (1 tablet from the blue pack).
For dogs 11-22 kg (26-50 lbs): Give 136mcg (1 tablet from the green pack).
For dogs 22-44 kg (51-100 lbs): Give 272mcg (1 tablet from the brown pack).
Dogs over 44 kg (100 lbs): Require a combination of tablets.
Ensure your dog has a heartworm test before starting Heartgard.

Caution:

Avoid administering to dogs allergic to the ingredients.
If your dog hasn't been on ivermectin for up to 6 months, start the medication and test for heartworms after 6 months.

Possible Side Effects:

Rare side effects when used at recommended dosage.
Safe for all dog sizes and breeds, including puppies, pregnant females, and Collies.

Sierra Pet Meds always come through with reasonable pricing. I am a U.S. customer who has been purchasing Heartgard Plus and Nexgard for my rescue dog for the last seven years. Shipping takes the estimated time (for free), and if you wish for quicker delivery, it's not too pricey. Always a satisfied customer here. Having multiple dogs and living on a fixed income price is important, of course so is quality. Great product at best price I have found. My dogs take them willingly each month. They think they're getting a treat.
