Product Details

Heartgard Plus Chewables offer a delicious monthly treat that prevents heartworm disease while controlling roundworms and hookworms.

Benefits & Features:

  • Prevents heartworm disease by targeting tissue-stage heartworm larvae.
  • Controls and treats roundworms and hookworms.
  • Beef-flavored chew for easy, palatable administration.
  • Safe for puppies from 6 weeks of age, pregnant and breeding females.
  • Suitable for all dog breeds, including Collies.
  • Dosing recommendations for optimal safety and efficacy.

Directions for Use:

  • Administer once every month throughout the year.
  • For dogs up to 11 kg (25 lbs): Give 68mcg (1 tablet from the blue pack).
  • For dogs 11-22 kg (26-50 lbs): Give 136mcg (1 tablet from the green pack).
  • For dogs 22-44 kg (51-100 lbs): Give 272mcg (1 tablet from the brown pack).
  • Dogs over 44 kg (100 lbs): Require a combination of tablets.
  • Ensure your dog has a heartworm test before starting Heartgard.

Caution:

  • Avoid administering to dogs allergic to the ingredients.
  • If your dog hasn't been on ivermectin for up to 6 months, start the medication and test for heartworms after 6 months.

Possible Side Effects:

  • Rare side effects when used at recommended dosage.
  • Safe for all dog sizes and breeds, including puppies, pregnant females, and Collies.

  • Ivermectin
  • Pyrantel

    • Blue (for dogs up to 11 kg or 25 lbs)
    • Green (for dogs 12-22 kg or 26-50 lbs)

    I'm so glad I came across this website and ordered. I have made multiple purchases and have been happy each and every time. It takes a wee bit of time for it to get from Australia to the USA, so make sure you order enough or ahead of time. My pets are healthier and safer because of Sierra Pet Meds.
