Heartgard Plus Chewables offer a delicious monthly treat that prevents heartworm disease while controlling roundworms and hookworms.

Benefits & Features:

  • Prevents heartworm disease by targeting tissue-stage heartworm larvae.
  • Controls and treats roundworms and hookworms.
  • Beef-flavored chew for easy, palatable administration.
  • Safe for puppies from 6 weeks of age, pregnant and breeding females.
  • Suitable for all dog breeds, including Collies.
  • Dosing recommendations for optimal safety and efficacy.

Directions for Use:

  • Administer once every month throughout the year.
  • For dogs up to 11 kg (25 lbs): Give 68mcg (1 tablet from the blue pack).
  • For dogs 11-22 kg (26-50 lbs): Give 136mcg (1 tablet from the green pack).
  • For dogs 22-44 kg (51-100 lbs): Give 272mcg (1 tablet from the brown pack).
  • Dogs over 44 kg (100 lbs): Require a combination of tablets.
  • Ensure your dog has a heartworm test before starting Heartgard.

Caution:

  • Avoid administering to dogs allergic to the ingredients.
  • If your dog hasn't been on ivermectin for up to 6 months, start the medication and test for heartworms after 6 months.

Possible Side Effects:

  • Rare side effects when used at recommended dosage.
  • Safe for all dog sizes and breeds, including puppies, pregnant females, and Collies.

    Max jas talem tjos fpr about 6 years. It doesn't appear to make him ill, he lke takig it and so far no heartworm.

    I am so glad I found the company Sierra pet meds. It’s nice that you don’t always have to A vets prescription because we all know how much more expensive it is to buy it through them. heartguard was always my go to and that’s what I give her during the winter months here, however, it has not been that cold here so I’m worried about flea and ticks arriving earlier. usually I’ll get the Simparica trio, but since I had a heartguard left, I just ordered the plain s Simparica to go with the heartguard.

    First time purchasing from Sierra Pet Meds, although I've purchased Heartgard for a long time. I'm happy with my purchase. Patience is required. Shipping took a month, and tracking did not work. But the Heartgard did arrive well packaged and in plenty of time for when I needed it. I will be ordering from Sierra Pet Meds again.
