BROADLINE contains four active ingredients: fipronil, (S)-methoprene, eprinomectin and praziquantel.
The content of one full applicator (appropriate to the cat’s weight) is applied directly to the cat’s skin after parting the hair, in one spot on the middle of the neck.
BROADLINE is used to treat tapeworms, roundworms and fleas and ticks.
For fleas and ticks, BROADLINE treats flea infestations and prevents new infestations for at least one month; it also prevents environmental flea contamination for over a month. It may also be used as part of a treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis (an allergic reaction to flea bites). It treats tick infestations and prevents new infestations for up to three weeks.
For worms, BROADLINE is used to treat tapeworms and gastrointestinal roundworms as well as a type of worm that infests the bladder. It can also be used to prevent heartworm disease for one month.
It is available in two different sizes, Broadline for small cats less than 5.5 lbs (2.5 kg) and Broadline for Cats 5.5-16.5 lbs (2.5-7.5 kg).
How to apply BROADLINE Spot On for Cats:
To apply pull back the plunger slightly, remove cap, place the tip of the applicator on the skin and apply the contents directly on the skin in one spot on the midline of the neck between the base of the skull and shoulder blades. The content of one full applicator (appropriate to the cats weight) is applied directly to the cats skin after parting the hair, in one spot on the middle of the neck. After application there will be a small sticky patch, which may take 1 or 2 days to disappear.
