Product Details

Heartgard Plus Chewables offer a delicious monthly treat that prevents heartworm disease while controlling roundworms and hookworms.

Benefits & Features:

  • Prevents heartworm disease by targeting tissue-stage heartworm larvae.
  • Controls and treats roundworms and hookworms.
  • Beef-flavored chew for easy, palatable administration.
  • Safe for puppies from 6 weeks of age, pregnant and breeding females.
  • Suitable for all dog breeds, including Collies.
  • Dosing recommendations for optimal safety and efficacy.

Directions for Use:

  • Administer once every month throughout the year.
  • For dogs up to 11 kg (25 lbs): Give 68mcg (1 tablet from the blue pack).
  • For dogs 11-22 kg (26-50 lbs): Give 136mcg (1 tablet from the green pack).
  • For dogs 22-44 kg (51-100 lbs): Give 272mcg (1 tablet from the brown pack).
  • Dogs over 44 kg (100 lbs): Require a combination of tablets.
  • Ensure your dog has a heartworm test before starting Heartgard.

Caution:

  • Avoid administering to dogs allergic to the ingredients.
  • If your dog hasn't been on ivermectin for up to 6 months, start the medication and test for heartworms after 6 months.

Possible Side Effects:

  • Rare side effects when used at recommended dosage.
  • Safe for all dog sizes and breeds, including puppies, pregnant females, and Collies.

  • Pyrantel

    This item is exactly the same that I used to get from my vet but i know get it for a lot cheaper price through Sierra pet meds. I highly recommend this to others.

    Having multiple big dogs, things get expensive. Thanks to the wonderful pricing from Sierra Petmeds, I can afford to keep them on all that’s best for premium health. Please leave about three weeks if you’re in the USA. It took about three weeks for delivery to AZ. But still totally worth the wait. Will order again when needed. Thanks Sierra!!!!

    My dog has been on heartgard for 5 years and never had a side effect. He is a border collie and is sensitive to medicine. He just got a blood test for heart worms and it was negative. It has always been negative. I’m grateful to find this website at a great price.

    I have 2 golden retrievers who are now 8 and 6 years old. We have used this product ever since they were old enough to give it to them. It is a great product, that has kept them free of heartworms. I am so happy that I can get this product from Sierra Pet Meds, as they offer it at such a great savings.

    Got these, the same our vet recommends, at half the cost at his place, and at the best price I found online! My only disappointment is these packs don't include the calendar hearts to remind me when to give one to my dog, Buddy. Thanks for the great price and prompt delivery!
