    I have successfully used this product for almost 2 years. I am a happy customer. However, I break it down by weight and use it for cats.

    I have 2 rescue dogs. Both came with heartworm disease. With the first one I went thru the traditional (horrible) shots and short leash for months and months. She survived and is heartworm free now. The second guy had been abused and was so 'human' shy that I knew I could not and would not put him thru the old method. Instead I researched and found that doing the antibiotic tx first and then giving Advocate every 2 weeks for several months and then monthly would result in a clean heartworm test after 1 year. It did! And we were all ecstatic, esp. my vet who had been skeptical but willing to let me treat my dog as I wished. Rah for her and for Advocate. I use it still every month.......year round.
